About a month ago I was talking with my girlfriend and the topic of masturbation came up. When she was talking about what it was like for her it almost seemed like an entirely different thing – feeling it in your whole body, and afterward having a bunch of spasms in your torso, and not being able to walk??? for 10 minutes??? and having SUCH a dopamine rush and feeling SO relaxed and happy that more often than not she just falls asleep right afterward. Its hard not to feel envious when thinking about it, because as for me it’s essentially just 5-10 seconds of my dick feeling really good, and then basically nothing afterwards.
This prompted me to research what exactly its like for other women, as I know everyone is different, but I feel like I’m leaving with more questions than answers, but to summarize them:
Something I found interesting while I was looking into this topic is that many transgender individuals report a significant change in orgasm after just a few months on hrt – not even after any surgeries or anything. I feel like this implies that there are a lot less physical differences than many people would think? Or maybe estrogen/testosterone just has such a significant effect on this type of thing?
I know most women kind of have to focus to get an orgasm, where its the opposite with men. I don’t know what causes this either, or if it has any significance to why the female experience is so much better.
And the main thing I don’t get:
Why is it sooo different, when we are both the same species? Isn’t the clitoris and penis supposed to be essentially the same thing? I figure some of this can be attributed to so many men being circumsized, including, unfortunately, myself, which of course drastically reduces the feeling, but I don’t think that can explain ALL of the differences. I’m sure even for uncircumsized men the experience still isn’t as intense.
Thank you for reading.
