People with jobs on this subreddit, if you had to describe how you would look for a job as an algorithm – how would you do it? /u/First_Appearance_200 CSCQ protests reddit

pseudo code is fine. Right now my process is:

1. Go on job board (Indeed, linkedIn).
2. Type in location and vague keywords related to IT or software development.
3. Note down anything vaguely relevant.
4. From that list have chatgpt succinctly summarize jobs.
5. Apply to jobs – mostly copy and pasting repeated questions from a spreadsheet.
6. Track info/OAs/workday accounts etc in another spreadsheet.

Repeat 1-6 adneausem.

So far I’ve had an about a 1/30 non-ghost/reject rate with a sample size of 90 over 10 days.

Curious what others do these days.
