I’m new and love this game but… /u/Sinoberi Monster Hunter: World

My friend convinced me to try this game and so far I like it ALOT. It’s the only thing I’ve been playing the past few days. Problem is, he won’t actually teach me anything at all and wants to speed run me through half the game just so he can have someone else to help him out. I got on a half hour ago to do some quests and he’s trying to get me to kill nergigante at level 13 with no good gear by MYSELF while he’s in a separate group sitting at level 687. Honestly I want to cry. I have nobody else to play with and I’m starting to not want to even touch this game anymore. This really is my mhw experience and it sucks. I really hope nobody else has been experiencing this.
