how do i begin a conversation about exploring kinks? /u/squirttart Sex

i (21f) have been with my bf (20m) for over three years and i want to have a conversation about kinks. don’t get me wrong, the sex is amazing but more on the vanilla side, and i want to spice things up a little bit. how do i bring up this conversation without it seeming like i’m just randomly springing this question? or without it seeming like i’m a hornball? i don’t want him to think i am unsatisfied. is there a way to make it less awkward? i’m willing to just deal with the awkwardness if need be lol, but is there a smooth way to go about this? i know i know, every relationship and/or person is different. i just have no idea how to go about this, but it’s a convo i would like to have. 😊
