Do other adults celebrate their birthdays? If so, how? /u/WordNerd1983 No such thing as stupid questions

My birthday is coming up, and I always feel a little sad. I honestly don’t mind getting older. Instead, it’s a kind of wistfulness because I want to have a special day but don’t really know how. I don’t particularly like food or alcohol. Sometimes I’ll play a game with my family. But I’m curious, what do other people do to celebrate their birthdays? Or is that just something we all lose?
