Buying my gf a portable gaming device /u/Malicious_Asparagus Steam on Reddit

Hey all,

My gf and I recently got into gaming. She’s currently playing assassin’s creed unity after completing and enjoying the hell out of harry potter. Shes express her joy of both of these titles and hope to play coop with me on future games. She is currently playing on a ps4 to which we are limited to cross play options due to me having a rog ally.

I’ve been leaning towards purchasing a steamdeck for her due to the ease of usage. However, due to my lack of knowledge, awareness, and being a new gamer myself, I’m concerned of what’s all available for us since I assume she would be limited to the steam deck library, and probably myself as well.

I’m open for suggestions that would allow both her and I to play coop games together, with a decent library of options for her.
