If we want to create a company where the C-Suite is mostly AI, how probable is the plan to succeed—and how would someone go about this?
I think an obvious answer is that you’d want to get an LLM to answer CEO type questions. You’d likely need a business that doesn’t already have a CEO, so that the AI can be installed to fill that position without the political drama. But, what about funding? The CEO is responsible for company vision, right? How would you get an AI to drive that in a way that can secure funding? Or, am I misunderstanding the role of a CEO (assuming it’s a startup).
Another thing: coworkers usually band together under common employment. If an AI CEO can only work via starting off that way, how do you garner a workforce willing to create and manage the AI? Do you need investors to fund salary overhead? How’s that going to work—what rich guy is going to invest in something which potentially damages the idea that CEOs can’t be automated?
Taking the question seriously: how would you go about giving an AI CEO its best shot? What do you need, and how do you get started?
