Why don’t people just accept a no? /u/Horror-Contest7416 No such thing as stupid questions

I’ve found everything in life from going out, substances, sex and more saying no in any form isn’t accepted. I always have to give some wild excuse or just ignore the person asking hoping they will go away. I don’t get the mentality behind because why would you want to force someone to go to something when they’re just going to be miserable and not have fun
