Relative file paths on multi-partitioned hard drive /u/case_steamer Python Education

This is probably not explicitly Python, but it has to do with my journey, so here goes.

Today I’m doing absolute & relative file paths, and while I grasp the concept(s) fundamentally, I ran into a problem that I imagine not a lot of students have: Am running Windows 10 mounted on the C: partition of my hard drive, but I have all my projects stored on the D: partition. When putting in the file_path string relative to my .venv to the .txt on the desktop that I’m trying to reach, I don’t know how to get from the C to the D. That said, I understand the fundamentals just fine and grasped how to jump around within the D: relative to my .venv. If anyone can point me to the information I need, I’d be greatly appreciative.
