if this happened to me i wouldn’t mind since he doesn’t like me, but i know everyone is different. i just feel a bit confused on what to do.
me (21f) met a coworker (22f) and became close friends. she’s from a different country and we’ve been friends for almost 10 ish months. she introduced me to a family friend (m22) who’s from the same city in her country (i only mention this because it brings them closer like familyfriends/culture ties since they both speak the same language) she encouraged me to be friends with him and hang out with him since he doesn’t have a lot of friends and is really chill/laid back. she told me he likes her but she doesn’t feel the same and that she wants nothing to do with him but be friends. me and the guy exchanged social medias, which ended in exchanging numbers. we’ve been texting a lot for the past few days and today we hung out (without her knowing, this is my third time meeting him and all other times she was there or was there with groups of friends) i’m like 80% positive he likes me, i like him too. i think he’s cute. tonight we went to “hangout” it wasn’t a date just smoking a cigarette and talking. but i could “sense” there was something there. there was slight flirting. would it be wrong to date him? i haven’t told her that he’s been texting me or that i even respond back let alone that we hung out tonight. am i weird? i like him a lot but i don’t want to jeopardize our friendship. Edit: (she told me multiple times she doesn’t like him and is interested in his friend)
