I’ve been on Junel Fe 1/20 for almost two years now. I wasn’t really sexually active until recently, back in October, and I’ve noticed my sex drive has definitely gone up. But at the same time, I’ve been having issues with getting as “wet” as I used to. Even when I orgasm, my partner still has to use lube. It’s kind of making me feel insecure and frustrated since I can’t produce as much as I did before. Before the pill, I had a really high libido, and it wasn’t a problem at all. Even though we do plenty of foreplay, it still doesn’t seem to last long enough for me to feel fully “wet.” It’s especially annoying because I’ve met someone I really enjoy being intimate with, but now this feels like an issue.
It just doesn’t make sense to me, my sex drive is there, but my body’s not responding the same way. I’ve thought about stopping the pill, but I’m honestly scared of the cramps and heavy periods coming back. Don’t really want to go through that again.
so what birth control are you on? Or if you’re on the same pill, have you had this issue? What did you do about it?
