(if this is not allowed, please let me know! i’m sorry in advance!) I’m not a hardcore m+ player, but I’m trying to get better. Other than rotations, interrupts and defensives, i’m also trying to get better gear for my chars. I know that when in doubt between 2 items the answer is always “sim it!” to see what’s better…. but the first part is actually acquiring the new gear, lol. For most of the time I’m always checking archongg to figure out what I should be looking for, but it gets pretty tiring clicking all the links for all the slots to figure out WHICH dungeon you should be farming, or what other content may have gear you could use. So after a month trying to control that using google sheets, I decided to build a tool for it. And here we are. —– https://pathtobis.com —– It works pretty simple. You paste you simcraft/raidbots (/simc) string and the tool will crosscheck that against archon gear rankings to show you: – where your slots are in the ranking. – an overview of the possible upgrades. – every upgrade grouped by source. I know that blindy following BiS lists is not optimal, but at least this gave nice suggestions. I also know that this late into the season there aren’t a lot of people gearing up, so it’s actually the perfect time to work on the tool and get it ready/better for season 2 🙂 submitted by /u/zfiote |
