GF started playing pokemon go, got insanely lucky /u/KangarooPitiful1736 Pokémon GO – Discover Pokémon in the Real World!

So my girlfriend started playing pokemon go with me a few weeks back, and got really hooked to it and collecting/buddying the pokemons. Today we went out for sprigatito com day, and she actually wasn’t having the best of luck with the shinies, only catching one while seing like 100+. She started to get kinda sad and to cheer her up I told her to battle Arlo (she had 6/6 mysterious component already), explaining that she can get a rare/powerful pokemon out of it. I was just hoping that she would beat him first try (which she did) and get nice ivs or whatever so she could feel better about not having a lot of shinies sprigatito.
She caught a SHADOW SHINY BELDUM on like her first leader battle ever. I’m still stunned.
