TIP: Farewell to Arms: Mecha-Done /u/skattman World of Warcraft

If you’re trying to complete the Mecha-Done achievement for the Farewell to Arms mount, there’s a sub-achievement to collect 6 Vinyl’s, called Junkyard Melomaniac.

If you’re trying to complete this achievement, make the Gramophone first, or if you’re trying to farm any of the missing Vinyl’s!

I was missing the ‘Mimiron’s Branstorm’ Vinyl, which you can farm (by buying mats to make a Bundle of Recycled Parts.).

I spent over 250k in mats farming this and opened hundreds of recycled requisition boxes (green and purple), and never had it drop.

I saw a wowhead comment suggesting to make the Gramophone, which drops off of Steel Singer Freza.

I figured what the heck – it’ll save time and a LOT of gold. I got the gramophone on my first Freza kill (not sure if it’s a 100% drop rate), made the Gramophone and got the missing vinyl 3 boxes later. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence, but I wanted to post this so you don’t have to lose hours/days trying to farm for these.
