On the patterned light gray sports jacket /u/DarkVador13 /r/malefashionadvice

For weddings and the more formal social occassions, I like to dress up. Sometimes a suit, but I found myself in my light gray sports jacket with white windowpane a lot of times. I wear it mostly with khakis or a more greenish grey trousers. Dark gray works too, but the color of the trousers depends on the tie a lot of the time. My dark purple paisley tie can just never be worn with this coat.

I found dark green, olive green, and dark blue ties work really well with khakis. Ofc the shirt needs to be white. A lilac shirt or a patterned shirt can be worn with it, but just not with a tie.

What are your ideas for combos worn with a light grey sports coat with white windowpane?
