Confused about a coat size from boggi I just bought /u/NoAimMassacre /r/malefashionadvice

Hi Im new to learning about my sizes and all. I went to a Boggi Outlet and bought an amazing wool/alpaca coat. They salesguy told me it was a size 50 IT. Turns out in the coat, it says 46 and I didn’t even think to take a look. It fits me, but I don’t get it because 46 seems to be S and Im definitely more of an L kind of guy, M sometimes maybe. It was an outlet and I cannot find the jacket online anywhere. I was thinking of buying a trenchcoat online with all the sales but I have no clue if my size is actually 46 or 50.. It said 50 on the hanger but the tag says 46..
