Learning how to be in a secure relationship, not sure if sending food to a guy you like is doing too much /u/Actual-Tomatillo-904 No such thing as stupid questions

I have been talking to this guy for about 2 months. We get along so well, talk about everything under the sun and hangout pretty regularly. He even burned a CD playlist for me with his favorite songs šŸ™‚ He is sick right now and Iā€™m thinking about door dashing some food to his house.

I havenā€™t been in a ā€œrealā€ relationship in many years and donā€™t know if that is doing too muchā€¦ I am quite anxious when it comes to this relationship bc I donā€™t want to lose him. Im also a āœØrecovering āœØ dismissive avoidant (I have quite literally been the textbook definition in the past ) and Iā€™ve never experienced that feeling before. Would love to hear others thoughts. If age means anything in this scenario we are both in our mid 20ā€™s lol.

Thanks in advanceeeeee šŸ˜Š

Update with more background: he eats anything in front of him, so I wasnā€™t planning on asking him what he wants, just getting a soup, smoothie and cookie. But maybe I should ask him before hand or give some sort of explicit heads up? I am going to ask him if heā€™s planning on being home later because sometimes he hangouts at his parents but was gonna keep everything else a surprise.
