Is business casual ok for high school? /u/ThatOnePaniagua_22 /r/malefashionadvice

So I’ve always dressed really poorly and I’ve recently started to try to make changes to that. The thing was nothing ever worked for me because I was never comfortable in just casual streetwear (I don’t like wearing jeans and don’t think they look that good on me, and other than jeans and a t-shirt you have the kids who wear oversized proclubs). I want to make the move over to something more reminiscent of a business casual style, since I’ve always enjoyed dressing up nicely. The style I’ve currently made for myself is similar to business casual just with some streetwear elements incorporated (adidas sneakers, levi pants, ect). Obviously my biggest fear is judgment by people though for dressing up a bit nicer than most people do, is it typically considered socially acceptable to want to dress up like this for casual environments like a public highschool?
