I have been working on this setting for a while, and have lots of notes. My issue is that i probably have holes in my lore, or things that can be improved.
Thus, please ask any questions you want about my setting.
Setting: My setting takes place in post, post apocalyptic world. Long ago, the Black War was fought by the Dominion, and the Outsiders. The fighting was so brutal that both groups mutually killed each other off. The only proof of their existence is the Sea of Glass, and the strange, non magical technologies left behind.
Many years later after the Wars of Rending, their is an uneasy peace amongst the nations. Everyone is trying to get their hands on the ancient technologies from long ago to give them a leg up in the next war. Tensions are high, and the emergence of the Primary Signal in the Sea of Glass has only raised them further.
Major players:
The Queendom of Mythlar: The last surviving part of the fallen Elvish Empire. They are a proud nation with some of the most ancient traditions of magic. They wish to reclaim the territories lost in the Wars of Rending, and restore their ancient honor and power
The Authority: A powerful human and dwarvish state that was originally made so the various human princelings and dwarvish lords could have protection from the Elvish Empire. They are ambitious, industrialized and heavily militarized. They wish to expand their borders, and become the new order now that the Empire is gone.
The Divine Kingdom of Kaldo: A draconic and human kingdom, but with a far more traditional outlook than the Authority. They are the only nation to have a Divine Avatar rule over their nation, and to have their gods speak to them on a regular basis. They see themselves as the greatest nation ever, and wish to share their greatness with others, by force if need be.
The Minor lands: The smaller city states, kingdoms, and other nations that are regional players at best. they are numerous and often shift borders due to constant low level warfare.
The Order of the Flame: A simple order dedicated to the preservation and advancement of humanity. Don’t pay attention to how advanced and armed they are, and definitely don’t ask what “the Flame” is
