I’m a (25F) and I’ve noticed that at parties, straight girls (many of whom are there with their boyfriends) will randomly come up to me and say “you’re so cute” or “oh my God, you’re adorable” or “you’ve got a cute vibe, I love it.” This has happened many times and it confuses me as they clearly aren’t flirting as they’re straight and there with their own partners usually, and I am usually there with my partner as well.
