Is it normal for my cat to follow me into the bathroom every time? /u/SylaTrixie No such thing as stupid questions

I live by myself in a small apartment, and my cat insists on coming into the bathroom whenever I’m in there. She’ll even meow at the door if I try to close it. Is this just a cat thing, or am I doing something that encourages this behavior?
