How in the world do NATIVE English speakers mistake “would of” for “would have”? /u/EXinthenet No such thing as stupid questions

I mean, they don’t even sound the same. Even though I hate reading “you’re” instead of “your” or plurals with “‘s”, I can understand where that comes from, as the pronunciation is the same, but “would of”???
