Hello, I just recently got this game on sale and I’m enjoying the whole experience. Except, I just recently looked at the internet to compare which elemental weapons I ought to use against a certain enemy and just found out that elemental damage apparently sucks ass on many of the weapons, most notably on the Great Sword I’m using. This system feels hilariously stupid and has made me feel like I wasted all my time actually trying to partake in the game’s elemental weaknesses and prepare for fights. Is there any sign that this will be changed for the next game? I saw that the sequel title Monster Hunter: Wilds is going to be out in February and that the demo came out recently. I haven’t played that demo myself and I didn’t really find answers regarding this topic from a brisk search.
