Why Is Steam Taking Old Screenshots?

I turned on my pc this morning and before i could even open the steam application, my home screen is flooded with hundreds if not thousands of these notifications saying i’ve taken screenshots. I played Call Of Duty an extremely long time ago and i have no idea how or why i’m even seeing these because i haven’t played it recently. As of the time i wrote this post, it moved onto half life 1 screenshots. It’s getting more ancient. What’s the go?
