It feels like the majority of people prefer cold weather to hot weather. Most people I speak to say they feel more comfortable in winter weather to summer weather.
I’ve always found this very hard to understand, but I seem to handle the cold much worse than other people. I even moved from the UK to Portugal to escape the cold, that’s how much I hate it! And even the winter here is colder than I’d like.
I absolutely hate the feeling of waking up and being cold, or getting out of the shower and being cold. Of course, extreme heat isn’t good, but most people I speak to say they’d prefer, say, 5°C (41°F) instead of 25°C (77°F).
I love summer days so much and would like to understand why others don’t. I understand why someone in Phoenix, AZ finds summer difficult, but when it comes to moderate heat and moderate cold, most people seem to prefer moderate cold.
