The talk about qi2, magnetic cases etc doesn’t solve the one issue that accessories are often designed for iphones which have high camera locations. /u/chickdigger802 Android

I’m sure everyone thats dabbled with magnetic cases for android phones have noticed this issue. Now chargers generally aren’t an issue because they are a puck, but wallets and battery packs can be a hassle because android phones often have camera arrangements that are lower, so even if the s25u supports qi2 in some fashion, the camera design seems mostly the same as the previous years. Example my s24u.

so yea, there will need quite a few more tweaks in general if we want magnetic accessories to be more standardized and i dont think there is any interest in the phone manufacturers to tweak stuff for that.
