steam taking thousands of screenshots /u/SpinachTheHabibi Steam on Reddit

i don’t know why but steam is taking thousands of screenshots of games i’m not even playing! i woke up today and all my storage had been filled up by these screenshots coming in. i’ve done everything i can think of to stop them. these are old screenshots too. i’ve tried restarting my pc 47 times, messing with the screenshot manager and even deleting the screenshots in the game files. Nothing works no matter what i do. I own 2000+ games and am a religious screenshotter, if i have to go all of them i will be in tears. I’ve looked this issue up online but there’s no definitive answers because everyone has slightly different issues and steam is too busy sabotaging what little storage i have to my name 🙁
