Steam not detecting controller on macos sequoia (15.2) /u/onluiz Steam on Reddit

I have searched about this but I could not find a solution.

I have a ipega 9076 controller. It works fine on mac (works both with xcloud and https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad).

But when I try to use it on steam it simply does not work.

When I open the controller settings on steam I receive the message that no controller was detected. I tried to activate/deactivate steam input both in steam settings and game settings but no success.

Is there a way to make it work on steam?
