What do Americans often have in their tacos? /u/WhoAmIEven2 No such thing as stupid questions

Here in Sweden we are obsessed with tacos, with friday often inofficially known as “taco friday”, or “tacofredag”.

We usually fill them with ground meat cooked with taco spices, taco sauce (a bit like salsa, but chunkier I guess?), sourcream, tomato, onion, iceberg lettuce, cucumber and shredded cheese. Lately I want to explore more toppings, so why not ask what Americans fill their tacos with.

So well, what are common taco toppings in the US?
