So i wanted to use PSC for a game, so i made an account on the mobile app, the moment i got my account set up it got locked, this is what it says “For security reasons, your account has been temporarily locked. Please contact customer service to resolve the issue”
Because of this i wanted to close my account without using it, and obviously i don`t have any money on this account because it got locked right away, but every time i press “close account” it tells me my account is not active, so i went ahead and send an email to customer service, and they replied saying i need to verify my account with an ID, which to me is sensitive information and i find it strange considering i have not done anything on that account yet and i would rather not send my ID if i am not sure it`s ok to, so anyone else ever had a similar situation and know what to do?
Edit: i don`t know why this went to r/Steam, and i dont know how to change it…
