I’m having a bit of trouble getting my display set up to work properly.
I have two desktops, and a TV as my third monitor that I want to use for single player games. My PC doesn’t recognize my TV as a third monitor unless the TV is on, which is fine. My desktop gets all rearranged when the TV is on, but that’s another issue.
What the best settings so that Steam always launches games onto my TV instead of on one of the monitors? It works half the time, it’s so frustrating. Sometimes big picture mode launches on a monitor and the game on the TV, sometimes it’s the other way around. Sometimes it launches both big picture mode and the game on the TV but it’s windowed and tiny. I just cannot get it to work fluidly. The only setting I could find is the “preferred display” setting in big picture mode, which I have set to the third “monitor” (the TV) but that still doesn’t seem to fix the issue.
