Just thought this would be something fun for people. I know there are lots of reasons why people enjoy or even prefer the DM chair over a players character chair.
To start: I DM because I don’t have a group to play with, I’ve just been running my daughter through a few campaigns (DoSI and DoIP so far, just started Shattered Obelisk).
I also DM because I’m complete garbage at rolling. With a PC I’d never land a hit or make a spell save DC, as a DM monsters rarely hit my daughter or make their saves. She on the other hand will get 3 crits a game session almost guaranteed to make her saves.
