Thinking about stopping after Shara Ishvalda /u/Desperate-Public394 Monster Hunter: World

Hi everyone,

I enjoyed this game from the beginning, but I am a dad of 2 small kids and have little time to play. I spent 7 months just for finishing the campaign, and thats failing very few hunts and ignoring a lot of optional quests, thats just how little time I have.

Now I might be ready for it to stop and play something new, since I keep reading here how “grindy” the end game gets. I think leveling grinding lands for materials and monsters for equipment will enter a diminishing returns phase for my time, and I dont want to taint the marvellous time I had so far with World.

What do you think, is there some content I could be doing without much additional grinding? I know getting to Fatalis would require months at my pace, but how about the special requirement monsters or sieges? Would that be achievable in a reasonable timeframe?
