Is it rude to correct someone when they say a word wrong? /u/Ollieollieollie05 No such thing as stupid questions

Earlier I was with my brother and he mentioned not being able to log into the family netflix account but he pronounced it with an F like “nef-lix’ and when he did I corrected him, I just simply stated that it’s NETflix not NEFlix and he got annoyed telling me that it doesn’t matter but like… I don’t see any harm in correcting him? Though I am autistic

I’ve been doing it my whole life, if someone says something wrong and I know how to pronounce it then I will correct them (whether it be a random word or my real name) and I’ve only just started thinking about it and like… Do people actually find it rude? Specifically neurotypicals
