I thought I’d bring this up to see if anyone has felt this way but, getting better at building has taken the joy out of the game for me. I remember years ago I would spend hours on the game either building whatever just for the sake of it on my own, or messing around and building worlds with friends. For hours we’d talk, laugh and just build, stress free, no plans, no goal, just whatever. But as I’ve gotten better at building, my standards for what I build also became higher and I no longer get a sense of joy from silly builds but only from highly detailed, extravagant, creations. These types of builds take so many hours though which I don’t have that kind of time to spend on, and so I’ve fallen out of playing because of this. I so desperately want to feel that joy again of stress free building but I can’t seem to get that back knowing what I’m capable of now. So I guess my question is, has this happened to anyone else and if so, how can I find that kind of joy in it again?
