back from the dead, need help /u/aaviSTAR CSCQ protests reddit

around the first half of this year I was very involved in cs community, I’m 20 now, I was backend enginner for a no name company for two years till April 2024, since then I’ve taken a break from all of it. dropped from the degree I was doing and enrolled in a new program(due to personal reasons). I have done many gigs here and there, some have a decent exposure, some open source work. but nothing like twitter fame level.

I want to get back on the grind and find a job, I Have to find a remote job only, that’s probably the biggest hurdle, right?any tips on going about searching for jobs, refining my skills, applying for jobs. etc?
