Hi everyone, I’m 23M, and I’d like to share my experience and ask for advice. Since I was born, I’ve never uncovered my glans, not even during masturbation, as I used an alternative method. When I was a child, I would lie on my stomach and rub gently against pillows. As I grew up, I stopped using pillows and started rubbing gently against the bed. I wonder if this habit could have been harmful over the years, although I think it hasn’t, as I still practice it.
At 22, I discovered I had glans hypersensitivity, so I consulted a urologist. He diagnosed me with a grade 5 varicocele and explained that circumcision(I don’t agree) might be necessary to address the hypersensitivity. However, he prefers trying non-surgical solutions before considering surgery.
He recommended a semen analysis to check if the varicocele is affecting my fertility. If it is, surgery would be unavoidable. Regarding the glans hypersensitivity, it was unbearable at first. I started using rings similar to condoms that leave the glans exposed, and the situation improved significantly. Now, I can even walk, run, and do anything with my glans exposed without feeling any discomfort.
However, the issue persists during friction with my hands, skin, or clothing. On a daily basis, I have no problem having my glans uncovered, but during friction, I feel slight discomfort. I still don’t feel ready for sexual intercourse because this sensitivity during friction hasn’t completely gone away.
What do you recommend? How should I proceed?
