From what I see, the French cuffs on tuxedo shirts like the one I bought are linked such that the inner parts are touching each other (i.e. kissing) unlike a barrel cuff (i.e. the ones on semi-formal dress shirts), in which one end goes above the other (i.e. barreling).
- Can the French cuffs also be barrel linked?
- Which is more formal and/or popular? Kiss linked, or barrel linked?
