My DIY D&D Xmas tree—the aasimar topper is my fave part! [OC] [photo] /u/RoxannaMeta DnD: Roll for Initiative!

My first year trying this! I thrifted ornaments like the diamond bauble and copper cookware, repainted a “Fresh Cranberries” ornament to say “Fresh Goodberries” and made d20 shapes out of straws, repurposed trinkets like a mini chest and dragon egg, hung dice bags etc. I also added some already-owned pearl baubles and red crystals that looked like dripping blood, and finished with dice lights that were a gift from a friend (Amazon I think).

But my fave is the porcelain angel topper I thrifted for $4 and added a tiny breastplate and sword to! Next year I’ll level up my new aasimar paladin with some legit Worbla armor. I love her and I would die for her (or would she die for me?).

I think the decorations cost about $40 total and I will definitely add more next year (looking out for trinkets to collect during 2025!) Any ideas for particular ornaments or decorations to incorporate??

(Also used for a photoshoot, excuse the lil outfit but I’m glad it meant that I got good shots of the tree!)
