I don’t know what to say in bed to my very progressive partner /u/Brave_Newspaper9945 Sex

I (26 F) have been dating someone (26 M) for a number of months now but I feel like sexually, we haven’t quite figured each other out. He is very progressive, which I think is amazing, but I’ve never with someone like him before so I’m a bit confused on what to do. I’m used to taking a more passive or submissive role, but he views me as an equal and I think he wants me to be more confident rather then be submissive.

One of the things I’m struggling with is what to say whilst we are being intimate. I’ve asked him if he has any kinks or anything, which he said “no, I’m pretty vanilla”. I then followed up by asking if he likes dirty talk and he said yes. However, in saying that, he doesn’t have a degradation kink (I asked) and he would never call me a sl*t or anything like that when it comes to dirty talk. The only thing he really says is that I’m a good girl. I’m worried that whatever I say to him will be the wrong thing, but I also know he enjoys dirty talk, so I need to say something. Any suggestions on what I can say to him that is not too intense for this sweet man and doesn’t degrade women or feel too submissive, but still gets him going?? Help me!

EDIT: I am not suggesting that he is not satisfying me in any way. Although he isn’t into the same dirty talk I am, trust me when I say I am satisfied. The man is EXCELLENT at what he does, which is actually part of the reason I am wanting to learn how to better please him. He’s so good I almost feel inadequate so I just want to find ways to be better at what he is into.
