Question about Steam purchases with prepaid cards, specifically Privacy cards. /u/RefreshingCapybara Steam on Reddit

Basic reasoning: For New Years I’m trying to gift some friends some funds to use on whatever they want, and I’ve determined a prepaid debit card is the best option to do that. There is a good chance they will just use it on Steam, but I didn’t want to give them a Steam Gift Card in case they decide on something else.

I’ve used some other prepaid services in the past but had bad experiences with them, and I’ve since been recommended Privacy.com as a good option.

Can anyone confirm that Steam accepts Privacy.com prepaid cards, and in the US specifically? I’ve tried to find some information online, but anything I see is either not recent or not very clear.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
