I’m sure that some people may be going through a similar situation, but to put in context, I turned 28 this year and currently working in the restaurant area, and I don’t see myself working in the kitchen as I get older, I’ve never enjoyed and I studied to become a cook for a while out of need, but I’ve always wanted to be able to work from home and I enjoy coding, I’ve started with the introduction to python from the university of Helsinki and also I’m going through the Python crash course, I’ve been doing it for almost 2 months and things are starting to make sense for me, I can read the codes and understand things I couldn’t before and that makes me feel very good with myself. I have not decided yet what to do after completing the courses in python and I would like to know, maybe from people who’ve gone through a similar path or situation, what would you recommend to do next? Is data analysis for example something good to go for? I’m relatively new and I don’t have much knowledge about what choices become available after learning python. I know that not having a CS makes things harder but I’m at the point in my life where I know I have to make a change and I’m enthusiastic about this but still a little lost about the direction. Any advice is appreciated.
