Is it common for women to have long hairs in the nipple/areola area? /u/Acceptable-Will4743 No such thing as stupid questions

In high school I went out with a girl and the night came when my mouth met her boob. Kissing/licking around her nipples I thought a stray hair got in my mouth. I licked a bit more aggressively in an attempt to peel it back out of my mouth.

I finally backed away but kept looking at her boobs to see what was up. She had many long hairs sprouting out from her areolas and the area around them.

Is it common for ladies to have several long nipple area hairs and they just pluck or was it a teen girl hormonal thing/something else? I’ve never seen anyone I’ve dated or been married to with breast hair and it’s not like serious relationships would keep their nip pubes a secret. (Edit: nip pubes is a unisex phrase. I have my nip pubes too. Also, I only have my relationship experience but there’s been things that significant others did comfortably when I was present that seemed much more personal hygiene-wise or for aesthetic purposes)
