I just started studying CS and scared for my future. /u/_C2H6_ CSCQ protests reddit

I am 20, did an apprenticeship in software dev for 4 years in Switzerland and now Studying here full time. This sub is scaring me into thinking I will be jobless in the future.
I also really want to work in the US for a bit because I am half American and was born there and just want to get to know the US more, but the heavy competition makes me feel like I have no shot against Harvard graduates who created 10 startups by the time they were 12.

Maybe I’m just complaining lmao
Also do you think an app in the app store (a good looking one) is beneficial to applying for jobs, is it worth the $100 yearly apple fee or will they simply not care since anyone can honestly watch a react native tutorial

edit: Also how seriously is apprenticeship work experience in US companies taken, I feel like not so much since you spend a lot of time at a young age getting to know the basics
