My wife and I are nearly 5 months postpartum with our second child and we’re finding it difficult get things going in the bedroom.
She is finding it very difficult getting wet, to the point she is thinking the effort isn’t worth it as it’s nearly impossible to get properly lubed up. This then in turns difficulty getting turned on as she knows what a mammoth task it is.
The 4-5 times we have had sex has been with lots of lube. But the first 10 mins of sex is painful for her, and we’ve tried both silicone lube and water based lube. Once we get in to it a bit it goes as normal, although alternate positions are a no go, as she doesn’t want to risk it hurting again.
I’ve asked her what it feels like, for which the answer is dry and painful.
She is breastfeeding, which I’ve read can put a stop of both being in the mood and becoming wet enough.
She isn’t too keen on toys, and I’ll happily go down on her but it runs the risk of being too much not matter how slow I go.
Anyone have any good advice or tips on what can help us?l
