I have a work event coming up (I do blue collar work) but I don’t go to fancy places ever. The dress attire is smart casual, to me that means my nicest pair of blue jeans and a plain black t-shirt with my nice pair of non work boots. My other option is button up shirt (but it’s got a bunch of patterns on it), light grey dress pants, and the same boots.
