I’ve read as many of the MFA guides but I’m still looking to improve my footwear game in the more casual end, as I find myself wearing blundstones 99% of the time (including with shorts, ughhh).
I own the following:
- Blundstone chisel toes (suede, dark brown)
- Clarks Desert Boots (brown)
- Oxfords (wingtip, black leather)
- Runners (colourful, great for running, not for casual wear)
My office is business casual, so the blundstones and CDB work well there (paired with chinos and jeans). I’m a guy in my 30s and generally dress fairly casual (jeans, chinos, oxford shirt, chore jacket).
I feel like I am missing shoes for the following types of outfits:
- Shoes to wear with a polo shirt and chino shorts in summer, or perhaps with jeans. Would these be good options:

- Slightly dressier shoes to wear with my jeans or chinos when I go out dancing. Would these be good options? I see grey and suede widely recommended on MFA for more casual use.

I’m in Canada so don’t have as much access to US brands. However, AE is having a sale right now hence the two optiosn from there.
