Hi! I have zero sex drive. Here’s some info with a short timeline:
I’m 31f and have been with the same boyfriend for 2 years. The relationship has been very up and down and toxic. My cortisol levels are probably through the roof i know.
February 2023 – unexpected pregnancy, ended in termination. Was very tough at the time but healed mentally within a few months.
April and May and June 2023 – 3 plan B’s
January 2024 – start NIKKI birth control to clear my hormonal acne that spiked after the pregnancy (and also as a contraceptive).
Before the abortion, I had the sex drive of a rabbit. After, it disappeared. I thought it would come back after a while but it never did. So i got on BC thinking my pregnancy anxiety was subconsciously lowering my libido.
Welp, a year on the pill and STILL no sex drive. Zilch, nada, nothing. I also dislike my boyfriend most of the time. But i don’t even want to use a vibrator. That’s my biggest concern, yeah i don’t wanna sleep with my boyfriend but I don’t even want to get myself off? That’s how i know something is wrong.
Advice?
