I probably could have done this with a generative a.i. but I enjoy Reddit humor. As the title states, one of the traits for the acolyte background is: “I quote (or misquote) sacred texts and proverbs in almost every situation.” I’d really like to ham up that part of his identity for an immersive role-playing experience. But I can’t think of any clever sounding passages to use. Please help by commenting any quotes or sayings, rhymes or haikus, or any profound, clever or funny string of words that I can mess up.
This character is a monk with an INT of 6 for context.
