Is State Farm a good company to work for? /u/BuddhasReddit CSCQ protests reddit

I currently have a job as an SE but am not too sure there is much growth for me left at my company. I recently received an offer from State Farm. However, I have heard a lot about State Farm losing money the past year and I am wondering about job security. I would also like to hear other things like work life balance, pay etc if anyone has any experience working for State Farm as an SE.
